On this first trip down we got to spend some time with Luz Clara and meet her wonderful foster family.  We were there to take care of some legal requirements and, of course, to see our future baby!  Most of the pictures don't have captions because, well, the subject matter is self-evident.  We will be going down again in 4-8 weeks (depending on the speed of the Guatemalan court system) to bring her back with us.

It was hard leaving Clara behind, but we are so happy with the wonderful foster family she is staying with that we know she is getting the best possible care.  She was just five months old as we left, so she'll be 6-7 months old by the time she comes to the U.S.  We couldn't be any happier with how everything is turning out.
